Introducing Tutorials and Snippets

Two new sections have landed on the HyperXTalk website today, and I'm pretty excited about both of them.

Tutorials

The Tutorials section is a structured, lesson-by-lesson guide to HyperXTalk. It starts from absolute basics — creating your first stack, working with fields and buttons — and works its way up through more advanced topics like building games and adding native toolbars to your app.

There are twelve lessons live right now, organised into units. Each one has clear learning objectives, worked code examples, an exercise to try yourself, and review questions to check your understanding. The goal is that someone with no prior experience can sit down, work through the lessons in order, and come out the other side able to build real things.

More lessons are in the works — if there's something specific you'd like to see covered, let us know on the forum.

Snippets

The Snippets section is a bit different. It's a community-powered library of short, ready-to-use scripts — the kind of thing you reach for when you know roughly what you want to do but just need a quick reminder of the syntax.

You can browse by category, or search across titles, descriptions, and the code itself. Found something useful? You can submit your own snippets directly from the page — or even from within HyperXTalk itself using libURL to POST to the API. All submissions are reviewed before going live, so the quality stays high.

Both sections are under the new Learn dropdown in the navigation. Head over and take a look — and if you write something worth sharing, submit it! 🎉
